Nodes

Photogrammetry

Build a textured mesh from a folder of photographs.

The whole reconstruction pipeline in one node: matching, solving, densifying, meshing and texturing. Takes Images, outputs Mesh.

Use this when your source is a set of photographs rather than a shot. No tracking involved.

Settings

GPU (CUDA) uses GPU SIFT and the CUDA OpenMVS build. Needs an NVIDIA GPU.

Single Camera tells it every photo came from the same camera and lens, so they share one set of intrinsics. Leave it on when that's true, because it's a strong constraint that improves the solve. Turn it off for a mixed set.

Mesh Detail is the fraction of mesh faces to keep. Full detail is enormous and can exhaust memory, so the default keeps half.

Color chooses vertex colors or a texture.

Shooting For It

Overlap generously between shots, keep lighting even, and don't change focal length if you can avoid it. Camera RAW files work directly through Images Folder.
