Output 3D

Build the Blender scene from a solve.

The end of most graphs. Takes what the pipeline produced and creates real Blender objects from it.

The delivery comp is a separate node now. See Output Comp.

Inputs

InputWhat it brings in
SceneCamera and point cloud from an Auto Track
CameraCamera motion on its own, from Tripod Track or Separate Track Elements
Object DataSolved moving objects from Object Solve
MeshGeometry from Photogrammetry

Connect any combination. The node stays quiet until at least one of Scene, Camera or Mesh is connected.

Import to Scene

Creates the camera, the point cloud, object rigs and mesh, parented under a reconstruction root so the whole solve can be moved as one. Objects are named from the source clip, so there's nothing to fill in.

Scale applies a uniform scale to camera positions and points as they come in.

If there's an undistorting Lens Distortion in the chain, the camera arrives set up for the overscanned plate: sensor width scaled by the overscan factor, lens shift from the principal point, the undistorted sequence as its background, and render resolution set to match.

After Import

Use Align Scene in the 3D Viewport sidebar to set floor, axis, origin and scale.

To build the comp that puts your render back on the original plate, add Output Comp.

Opening Older Files

This used to be one node called Output, holding both the scene import and the compositor setup. It's the same node underneath, so an older file opens with everything connected as it was, just under the new name.

What's gone from it is the Setup Compositor button. Add an Output Comp node and connect the same Scene track to get it back.
